A renovation project at the North Shore Historical Museum in Glen Cove, which has been in the works for decades, is nearing completion thanks to a $125,000 grant secured by Assemblymember Charles Lavine. This funding is dedicated to restoring the building’s façade, which includes its original terracotta brick face, the placement of a large eagle figurine, and the replacement of 22 windows. The museum is housed in the old Justice Court Building, a 1907 structure listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the work is expected to be finished by the end of November.
