The Board of Trustees remains committed to continuing to preserve the history of the North Shore of Long Island. We are doing this through lectures, concerts, programs and a commemorative journal, which is available here.

Thanks to the generosity of our members and supporters, the restoration of our landmarked building is now complete.

The façade has been fully renewed, and the installation of UV‑protective storm windows is finished—improving energy efficiency while safeguarding the Museum’s collections for years to come.

While this major milestone is something we’re proud to celebrate, the stewardship of a historic 1907 building is an ongoing responsibility. Your continued support helps us maintain this treasured community resource and ensures that the Museum remains a welcoming, resilient home for our shared history.
